INTRODUCTION
Optimus Home ("the App," "we," or "us") is a customizable Android TV and Google TV launcher. This policy explains what information the App accesses or processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
INSTALLED APPLICATIONS
A core launcher function is displaying and opening applications installed on your TV. Optimus Home reads launchable-app names, package identifiers, icons, and launch information locally on the device. We do not upload your installed-app inventory to Optimus Home servers or share it with third parties.
INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY
The App may store launcher preferences, home-screen and widget layouts, wallpaper selections, favorite apps, sports and media preferences, and connected-service settings on your device. This information remains local unless a feature explicitly requires an online service.
OPTIONAL CONNECTED SERVICES
You may choose to connect services such as Google Home, Google Calendar, Ring, weather, sports, or media providers. When you do, Optimus Home accesses only the information you authorize and that is needed for the feature. Depending on the service, this may include device names and rooms, camera or doorbell information, thermostat status, calendar events, media information, weather, schedules, and scores. Third-party services are also governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
AUTHENTICATION AND ACCOUNT DATA
Some integrations require authentication through the provider. Authentication tokens and related connection information may be securely processed or stored by Optimus Home backend services to maintain an authorized connection. You may disconnect supported services at any time.
CAMERA AND VIDEO DATA
When you connect a supported camera or doorbell service, Optimus Home may display authorized streams, snapshots, device information, or events. We do not use camera feeds, recordings, snapshots, images, or audio for advertising or AI model training, and we do not intentionally create a permanent archive of camera video. Provider recordings and retention remain controlled by that provider and your account settings.
CALENDAR DATA
When you connect a supported calendar service, Optimus Home may access authorized calendar information to display the calendar features you request. Calendar data remains managed by your provider. You may modify or delete it through that provider and disconnect calendar access from Optimus Home.
PAYMENTS
Google Play processes purchases and subscriptions. Optimus Home does not directly collect or store payment-card information.
DATA SHARING
We do not sell personal information, installed-app inventories, camera data, calendar information, or other customer content. Information may be processed by cloud hosting, database, authentication, and connected-service providers only as needed to operate the requested functionality.
DATA RETENTION
Local launcher settings remain until you change or clear them or uninstall the App. Connected-service credentials may remain while the connection is authorized. You may disconnect supported accounts or request deletion of applicable information maintained by Optimus Home.
YOUR CHOICES
You may disconnect third-party services, revoke authorization through the provider, clear App data in Android settings, uninstall Optimus Home, or request access to or deletion of applicable account information maintained by Optimus Home.
HUMAN ACCESS AND SECURITY
Optimus Home personnel do not routinely view camera feeds, recordings, calendar information, or other personal content. Limited access may occur to investigate a technical or security issue or when you request support, subject to appropriate controls. We use reasonable safeguards and secure network connections where applicable, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Optimus Home is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as our features, integrations, or practices change. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are made.
