Privacy Policy for Optimus Home Last Updated: August 18, 2026 Introduction Optimus Home ("Optimus Home," "the App," "we," or "us") is a customizable Android TV and Google TV launcher that provides launcher customization, Home Hub features, smart-home integrations, calendar features, weather information, sports information, media integrations, and related functionality. This Privacy Policy explains what information Optimus Home accesses or processes, how that information is used, when information may be transmitted to our services or third-party providers, and the choices available to users. Installed Applications Optimus Home is an Android TV launcher. A core function of the App is displaying and launching applications installed on the user's device. To provide this functionality, Optimus Home reads information about launchable applications installed on the device, such as application names, package identifiers, icons, and launch information. Installed application information is processed locally on the device. Optimus Home does not transmit the user's installed application inventory to Optimus Home servers or share the installed application inventory with third parties. This information is used only as necessary to display, organize, customize, and launch applications from the Optimus Home interface. Information Stored Locally Optimus Home may store information locally on the user's device, including: Launcher preferences and settings Home screen and widget layouts Wallpaper and background selections Favorite applications Sports and media preferences Connected-service preferences Other application customization settings Local information remains on the user's device unless a feature explicitly requires communication with an online service. Optional Connected Services Optimus Home may provide optional integrations with third-party services such as: Google Home Google Calendar Ring Weather services Sports information services Media services Other services specifically selected by the user These integrations are optional. When a user chooses to connect a supported third-party account, Optimus Home may access information authorized by the user and necessary to provide the selected feature. Depending on the connected service, this may include information such as: Smart-home device information Camera or doorbell information Thermostat information Calendar events Media information Weather information Sports schedules and scores Optimus Home accesses connected-service information only as necessary to provide the functionality requested by the user and subject to the permissions granted through the applicable provider. Third-party services are also governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Authentication and Connected Account Data Some optional integrations require authentication through the applicable third-party provider. Authentication tokens and related connection information may be securely processed or stored by Optimus Home's backend services when necessary to maintain an authorized connection. Authentication information is used only to provide the connected functionality authorized by the user. Users may disconnect supported services to stop future access through Optimus Home. Camera and Video Data When a user connects a supported smart-home camera or doorbell service, Optimus Home may display authorized camera streams, snapshots, device information, or events provided by that service. Optimus Home does not use customer camera feeds, recordings, snapshots, images, or audio for advertising or artificial intelligence model training. Optimus Home does not intentionally create a permanent archive of customer camera video. Video recordings and retention provided by services such as Google Home or Ring remain managed by the applicable service provider and the user's account settings with that provider. Calendar Data When a user chooses to connect a supported calendar service, Optimus Home may access authorized calendar information to display calendar functionality requested by the user. Calendar information remains managed by the user's calendar provider. Users may modify or delete their calendar information through that provider and may disconnect calendar access from Optimus Home. Information We Do Not Sell Optimus Home does not sell personal information. Optimus Home does not sell or provide installed-application inventories to advertisers or data brokers. Optimus Home does not use customer data, camera feeds, images, audio, calendar information, or installed-application information to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Payments Purchases or subscriptions offered through Google Play are processed by Google Play. Optimus Home does not directly collect or store users' payment-card information. Payment processing is governed by Google Play's applicable terms and privacy policies. Data Sharing and Service Providers Optimus Home does not share personal information with unrelated third parties for advertising or data-broker purposes. Information may be processed by infrastructure or service providers when necessary to operate Optimus Home, such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, or connected-service providers. Such processing is limited to providing the applicable Optimus Home functionality. Data Retention Locally stored launcher settings remain on the device until changed, cleared, or the App is uninstalled. Authentication tokens and connected-service configuration information may be retained for as long as necessary to maintain an authorized connection. Users may disconnect supported accounts or request deletion of information maintained by Optimus Home. Optimus Home does not retain an uploaded inventory of applications installed on the user's device because installed-application information is processed locally and is not transmitted to Optimus Home servers. User Choices and Privacy Rights Users may: Disconnect supported third-party services Revoke third-party authorization through the applicable provider Clear locally stored Optimus Home data through Android settings Uninstall Optimus Home Request access to or deletion of applicable account information maintained by Optimus Home Privacy or deletion requests may be submitted to: support@optimushome.app Requests relating to information maintained directly by a third-party provider may need to be submitted to that provider. Human Access to Customer Data Optimus Home personnel do not routinely view customer camera feeds, recordings, images, calendar information, or other personal content. Human access may occur when necessary to investigate a technical or security issue or when a user specifically requests support, subject to appropriate access controls. Security Optimus Home uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the service. Network communications with Optimus Home services and supported third-party integrations use secure network connections where applicable. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Children's Privacy Optimus Home is not directed toward children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy when Optimus Home's functionality, integrations, or data practices change. When this Privacy Policy is updated, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
